The first trailer has hit the web for Rosebush Pruning, a star-studded new thriller movie with an A-list cast.
A loose remake of the '60s Italian classic Fists in the Pocket, the film is described as a "bold, unpredictable portrait of a wealthy family, where privilege, desire and long-buried secrets collide".
The story takes place under the Catalonian sun where a rich American family lives in hedonistic isolation, seeking love and validation through one another, their designer wardrobes and pop music.
When an outsider infiltrates the family, however, buried tensions surface and blood ties are severed.

Billed as "an outrageous, biting satire on the absurdity of the patriarchal family", the movie stars the rumoured next 007, Callum Turner (The Capture, Eternity).
This is alongside Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In), Elle Fanning (Sentimental Value), Jamie Bell (Retreat), Lukas Gage (How to Blow Up a Pipeline), Pamela Anderson (The Naked Gun), Riley Keough (The Lodge) and Tracy Letts (A House of Dynamite).
The film was also directed by the acclaimed Karim Aїnouz (Firebrand, Invisible Life) from a script by frequent Yorgos Lanthimos collaborator Efthimis Filippou (The Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Lobster).
Last year, JOE spoke to Pamela Anderson about The Naked Gun. During the conversation, we asked her about Rosebush Pruning, noting that its story about a newcomer infiltrating a dysfunctional, wealthy family sounded similar to the hit 2023 thriller Saltburn.
In response, she said: "A little. I would say it's a little bit of a dysfunctional family drama. A lot of great [actors], a really interesting ensemble cast.
"I got to play older, even, than I am now," she said, laughing.
"Karim is such an incredible director, such a visual artist, that it's really beautiful.
"It's a little eerie because the writer is Efthimis, who writes with Yorgos normally and does his films.
"So it is a little dark, but joyful [too] because Karim directed it."

Rosebush Pruning premiered at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival last month. Variety described the movie as a "nasty-chic immorality tale", adding: "If you’re going to eat the rich, they may as well be delicious."
Rosebush Pruning will be released in cinemas in the UK and Ireland later this year.
