Ryan Tubridy's final Late Late Show has its first guest
President Michael D. Higgins will be one of the guests on Ryan Tubridy's final ever Late Late Show.
The broadcaster confirmed the President of Ireland will join him on Friday to mark the momentous episode. Tubridy revealed the news on his RTÉ Radio 1 show this week.
He shared, "On Thursday, I'm going to Áras an Uachtaráin to meet President Higgins who's very kindly invited us up to do our final interview together."
Tubridy continued, "I think some people in his office or even he was saying our 14 years have been pretty much paralleled - obviously his in a much more important, lofty way and me in my own small way in TV Land!"
He added, "He's always been very generous with his time, and I appreciate the invitation."

RTÉ has not yet shared the full line-up for Friday's show but viewers are expecting some big names to make an appearance for Tubridy's final show.
Many believe Paul McCartney could make an appearance given Tubridy's love for The Beatles, but the full line-up won't be revealed until later this week.
Ryan Tubridy's last ever Late Late Show airs this Friday, May 26th.
