Saturday Night Live suspended one of their writers, Katie Rich, after she wrote a tweet mocking Donald Trump's 10-year-old son, Barron.
Following Trump's inauguration on Friday, Twitter and social media were ablaze with memes and jokes about Donald Trump and his family with Barron Trump being the butt of some of these jokes.
Some people created a memes which compared him to Joffrey of Game Of Thrones, who was a much hated villain in HBO's hit TV show.
This didn't go well with much of the public as Barron became a target when he was a child who didn't demand the spotlight but nonetheless was targeted.
Then Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich tweeted that: "Barron will be this country's first homeschool shooter." She received a flood of angry responses online to the extent that she deleted her account.
She reactivated her account on Monday with the tweet deleted and then issued an apology.
