seven worlds one planet

This looks spectacular.

Less than a day since he was a surprise guest on stage at Glastonbury, we’re already getting our first proper look at David Attenborough’s next documentary.

Seven Worlds, One Planet will focus on each of the seven continents, focusing on the distinct climate, terrain, and animal life to be found on each of them.

We can expect the documentary series to take us “from the colourful paradise of South America to the scorching heat of Africa. Seven Worlds: One Planet showcases the true character of each continent in turn and reveals just how it has shaped all life there”.

“Be surprised by unexpected stories,” the synopis continues.

“Marvel at iconic landscapes. And be awestruck by spectacular wildlife. Seven Worlds: One Planet is an eye-opening journey around a world you thought you knew.”

On top of the hugely impressive visuals, the first footage features the original song ‘Out There’, performed by Sia and Hans Zimmer.

There is no set release date for the new series, but we’d expect to see it this side of Christmas.

Meanwhile, JOE was lucky enough to chat to one of David Attenborough’s cinematographers, and he told us which part of the planet was the most beautiful place he’s ever filmed in. Check out that chat in full right here.
