Now you can faint and throw up in the comfort of your own home!
The horror movie that resulted in viewers passing out during screenings is finally available to watch in Ireland. That is, if you're not too scared to see it.
Terrifier 2 hit the headlines last month when fans claimed the horror was so scary they were passing out and throwing up in cinemas, something that helped see the R-rated film become branded as one of the scariest of all time.
The movie, a two-and-a-half hour bloodbath, follows Art the Clown as he haunts a brother and sister over Halloween. Art has been resurrected by sinister energy and returns to the scene where he unleashed his first killing spree in the original movie. This time, he has pretty much the same idea.
Be warned – this one really isn't for the faint-hearted.
Until now, Irish horror fans have only been able to read about the flick as its release date has been staggered across the world.
While Terrifer 2 never got an Irish cinema release date, it is now available to stream, having skipped the theatre experience. In the US it was initially screened over a few dates in August and was later extended due to demand.
The movie has proved a huge success and one of the sleeper hits of the year, with a current gross (how appropriate) of almost $8 million from a production budget of just $250,000. Unsurprisingly, a third instalment is already in development.
Critics have also responded positively, with the film garnering an 89% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
If you want to fire up Terrifier 2 at home, it's available now to rent via Google Movies from €3.99. It's also available via Rakuten TV, Apple TV and Microsoft.
