A nice mix of comedy, music and sports.

Friday is right around the corner which means everyone’s absolute and undisputed favourite show is back on screens.

So, what exactly does the next episode of The Late Late Show have in store?

Well, Rhys McClenaghan will be on the show to chat about being the first Irish person ever to win Gold at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

Sticking with sports, Martin O’Neill will also be reflecting upon his football career, including his five years as Ireland’s manager.

Also on the programme will be Offaly native and YouTube superstar Jacksepticeye, otherwise known as Sean McLoughlin, who will talk about his 10 years in the business which has seen him amass a massive 28 million followers.

On top of this, host Ryan Tubridy will be talking to comedian and writer Rory O’Connor aka Rory’s Stories about the importance of perseverance, as well as 12-year-old Cara Darmody from Tipperary who sat her Junior Cert Maths exam last June in order to raise funds for therapy services for children with special needs.

As the latter guest awaits her results, she will discuss what inspired her to take on this challenge and her plan to tackle the Leaving Cert next year.

In terms of music, singing sensation Mary Black will join Tubridy ahead of her Lifetime Achievement Award at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards later this month.

She will talk about her life and career in music and will treat Late Late viewers to some of her favourite songs to perform.

As well as this, the show will have a performance from Dublin musician Ailbhe Reddy as she is set to embark on a string of UK and European tour dates.

This week’s edition of The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One on Friday 11 November at 9.35pm.
