The Russo Brothers, directors of Captain America: Civil War, chat Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man and Star Wars

Eoghan Doherty

Cap is back… and so are the Russo Brothers.

Meet Anthony and Joe (great name) Russo.

Without you even realising it, these talented directors may have been two of your favourite people working in film and TV over the past 10 years.

They’ve been involved in super shows like Arrested Development, Community and Captain America: Winter Soldier, and now they’re back as directors of the latest excellent installment in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, Captain America: Civil War.

Civil War poster 2

That’s the one where Chris Evans returns as patriotic super-soldier, Steve Rogers, but this time around, himself and Robert Downey, Jr’s Iron Man begin to grow further apart.

To say that the pair of heroes don’t really see eye-to-eye in the latest fantastic film is just a little bit of an understatement. Even though they clearly do in the poster above.

Thankfully for us though, Anthony and Joe (still a great name), have no problem seeing eye-to-eye at all.

As well as chatting to Cap himself (you can watch that Chris Evans interview by clicking here), we caught up with the Russo Brothers to chat about Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man backflips, and what kind of pyjamas they like to wear in bed.

Not in a weird way. Just, y’know, in a nice kind of friendly way.

Enjoy…
