There’s going to be a new documentary on Steven Avery’s case

Paul Moore

Did ‘Making a Murderer’ leave you wanting to know more?

If you’ve finished Netflix’s sublime documentary ‘Making A Murderer’ then you probably have a few questions.

For example; what judge in their right mind would think that Brendan’s testimony was credible? Why did Brendan’s lawyer Len Kachinsky appear to be helping the State’s case?  Did anyone not think that it was strange that one of the jurors had connections to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department? What’s the real story behind the deleted voicemails, licence plates and questionable evidence?

All things being said, there’s still one overriding question.Who killed Teresa Halbach?

Making A Murderer

A fresh perspective on the case is going to be provided by Investigation Discovery after they’ve announced details to create a new documentary titled ‘Front Page: The Steven Avery Story’.

Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos were the two filmmakers that spent a decade creating ‘Making A Murder’ but they’re not involved with this new feature, nor are Netflix.

Speaking about the upcoming documentary, the group president of Investigation Discovery, American Heroes Channel and Destination America said “We are excited to share with viewers the latest in this compelling saga. Following our investigation, we expect that ‘Front Page: The Steven Avery Story’ will present crucial testimony and information that addresses many of the questions surrounding Steven Avery.”

Avery is currently serving a life sentence for the 2005 murder of photographer Teresa Halbach having previously spent 18 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted of sexual assault in 1985.
