Great news for all you cool cats and kittens.
Outside of a certain pandemic, it’s not stretching it to say that the Netflix documentary series Tiger King is probably the most talked-about thing of 2020 so far.
So much so, in fact, that the President of the United States was asked about a potential pardon for the main protagonist in the series – Joe Exotic, currently serving a 22-year prison sentence –during a press conference at a time when the United States has more confirmed cases of Covid-19 than any other country on the planet.
Fans of the show will be glad to hear that an eighth instalment in the series, titled The Tiger King and I, has been confirmed by Netflix and will be released this Sunday, Easter Sunday (12 April).
The Tiger King and I is an after-show hosted by Joel McHale (Community, the Joel McHale Show) and will feature brand new interviews with some of the central characters in the series, including John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman and Jeff and Lauren Lowe.
