If you’re like so many people that are missing Derry Girls, we’ve got the next best thing for you because the girls – and the wee English fella – are back on our screens tonight but they’re not in the Oak-leaf County anymore.
As previously reported, Orla, Erin, Clare, Michelle and James are swapping Foyleside for The Crystal Maze and we’re tipping them for great things.
Truth be told, we think that they’re more than capable of kicking ass tonight because if they’re anything like their characters then the show should be a piece of cake.
After all, Clare clearly has the temperament to handle a pressurised situation and stick by her mates – you know, once you ignore the countless times that she has grassed on them.
Elsewhere, Orla is never away with the birds, so we think her head will totally be on the task of solving those mysteries and puzzles tonight. As for Michelle, well, she has never been prone to losing the rag and lashing out at the people around her. Finally, we get onto Erin. When has one of Erin’s ideas ever failed to deliver?
Actually, the only character that might stand a chance of excelling in The Crystal Maze might be James but we reckon the girls will never listen to him anyway.
Whatever happens, we reckon that this could be an absolute riot. Don’t miss The Derry Girls special of The Crystal Maze when it airs on Channel 4 at 21:00.
