The trailer for the final ever episode of The Grand Tour has been released.
The first finale special, which was filmed in Mauritania, aired earlier this year but now a first look at their Zimbabwe trip has been released.
The episode will see Jeremy Clarkson, James May & Richard Hammond take to the road together for one last time on an epic and emotional journey in Zimbabwe, travelling in three cars they've always wanted to own.
A press release for the finale says: “In their last adventure, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May ignore the instructions of Mr Wilman and head to Zimbabwe in three cars they’ve always wanted to own, a Lancia Montecarlo, a Ford Capri 3-litre, and a Triumph Stag, for a stunning road trip through beautiful and sometimes challenging landscapes leading to an emotional ending on a strangely familiar island.”
The trio, who first got together in 2003 for Top Gear, announced last November that their Prime Video show The Grand Tour was coming to an end.
Last month, it was announced that the they had dissolved their joint production company, suggesting they wouldn't all be working together again.
The programme has run since 2016 but Clarkson has recently admitted that he’s too ‘unfit and fat and old’ for filming parts of the programme.
He told The Times: “I’ve driven cars higher than anyone else and further north than anyone else.
“We’ve done everything you can do with a car. When we had meetings about what to do next, people just threw their arms in the air.”
May has also said he thinks it’s the right time for a brand new motoring show to take the place of Top Gear and The Grand Tour because the presenters are too old.
However, he didn’t rule out the possibility of the trio reuniting on another project but added: You do have to bear in mind that we’re all getting on a bit.”
The Grand Tour: One for the Road launches on 13 September on Prime Video.
