Downton Abbey film

Fans are going to love this.

The Crawley family are making the move to the big screen this summer as the highly-anticipated Downton Abbey film arrives in cinemas.

For years, the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who worked for them at the turn of the 20th century have resembled something that you would expect from the Royal Family.

Well, get set for the real thing because as you can see in the trailer below, the film will revolve around a visit from the British monarchy.

Over its six seasons, the show won 3 Golden Globe Awards, 15 Primetime Emmy Awards, and 69 Emmy nominations in total.

If the film can capture the charm and appeal of the show, fans will definitely be having a jolly good time at the cinema.
