A good old-fashioned shoot 'em up...

Free Fire is the new creation of the brilliant Ben Wheatley, starring Irish actors Cillian Murphy, Jack Reynor and Michael Smiley. Set in Boston during the 1970s, a group of thugs recruited by Cillian Murphy are trying to procure a shipment of guns for the IRA. Basically, 12 men and a woman walk into a warehouse and all hell breaks loose with explosions, gunfire and round after round of ammunition expelled. The film is produced by Martin Scorsese so you know to expect some top quality when you buy your ticket. It also has a super supporting cast including Sharlto Copley, Armie Hammer, Brie Larson, Babou Ceesay, Enzo Cilenti, Sam Riley and Noah Taylor.
