Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we’re taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Alien: Covenant.
Plot’s it all about?
Set after the events of Prometheus but before Sigourney Weaver joined the party in 1979’s Alien, this sees a group of colonization scientists head to a distant planet in order to set up a base there, but they soon discover that they aren’t alone.
Fassbender is playing dual roles, both as the original David from Prometheus, and an updated android who seems to be far less friendly. Whatever happened to Noomi Rapace’s character is yet to be known, but everyone involved in the project has stated that director Ridley Scott has gone back to his roots of directing Alien by making a purely terrifying movie.
From the looks of this new trailer, we have to say he may have succeeded.
