When it comes to in-flight safety briefings, no airline does it better than Air New Zealand.
Although the message is essential and could end up saving your life, the problem with safety briefings on flights is that, generally, not a whole lot of people listen and no matter how many flights they’ve been on, a large percentage of people wouldn’t know how to react in an emergency situation in the air.
Knowing full well that this is the case, Air New Zealand have repeatedly come up with entertaining safety videos on their flights and this time around have returned with a theme based around The Hobbit, having previously come up with a Hobbit-themed effort in the past.
Fans of the Peter Jackson movie will recognise the elves, halflings, orcs and the beautiful New Zealand landscape from the movie, while Jackson himself and Elijah Wood even show up for cameo appearances.
