Well, this is awkward.

In fairness to Richard Ayoade, he doesn't come across as rude when he's being interviewed so much as it's crystal clear that he hates having a microphone in front of his face. The star of The IT Crowd was hosting the British Independent Film Awards last night, and this red carpet interview beforehand was more than a little bit cringeworthy. While the proximity of the toilets is important in any social situation, going on about it at length probably isn't the best conversation topic.
