In fairness to Richard Ayoade, he doesn’t come across as rude when he’s being interviewed so much as it’s crystal clear that he hates having a microphone in front of his face.
The star of The IT Crowd was hosting the British Independent Film Awards last night, and this red carpet interview beforehand was more than a little bit cringeworthy.
While the proximity of the toilets is important in any social situation, going on about it at length probably isn’t the best conversation topic.
It seems we have someone who is actually allergic to bullsh*t and cliché. He should be applauded, really.
