Okay, so it’s only Mario Rosenstock pretending to be Joan Burton on his weekly comedy sketch show, but it’s still pretty funny.
If you managed to catch the Mario Rosenstock Show last night on RTÉ Two then you would have seen Joan Burton (as played by Mario) swinging around on a wrecking ball and licking a manky old sledgehammer while singing the following: “They came in like a wrecking ball, now we’re hated more than Fianna Fáil”…

In fairness to Mario, he doesn’t do a half bad job at imitating Miley’s video for ‘Wrecking Ball’ and there are some absolutely classic lines throughout the clip.
While we think it’s pretty good, we don’t think poor Joan would say the same. Having said that, Joan is probably used to being the butt of Mario’s jokes by now.
