It was a case of life imitating art as everyone’s favourite moustachioed Anchorman turned up to co-present the real news on a North Dakota TV newscast.
Did you know there was a new Anchorman film coming out in a few weeks?
The juggernaut that is the marketing campaign for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues rolled into North Dakota recently as, according to a story on Deadspin, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) swapped San Diego’s Channel 4 News Team for Bismarck’s local TV channel, KXMB-TV.
The slightly awkward broadcast was livened up by Burgundy’s broadcasting flair and you have to say “tip of the hat you Miss Schatz” to his co-anchor Amber Schatz, who remarkably manages to just about keep her composure throughout the segment.
But just why the heck is there a female presenting the news? Everyone knows that it is AnchorMAN, not AnchorLADY… and that is a scientific fact.
