The weather has been pretty good lately, so good in fact that Helen Curran had a little sing to herself on the air last night.
While this RTE fail doesn’t hit the heights that Aengus Mac Grianna has reached in his day, it is still a bit embarrassing. After Second Captains last night, the weather followed. All was normal with Helen Curran’s broadcast but when it was finished, the cameras remained on for about 10 seconds.
In that brief period Curran very politely thanked ‘Michael’ before singing what sounds to us like a bit of Ella Fitzgerald’s Dream A Little Dream Of Me. Classy.
