Would you harbour a hardened criminal if he claimed to be your own flesh and blood? These Dublin residents didn’t seem too keen on the idea.

There was a cracking night of broadcasting on RTÉ 2 last night with Republic of Telly returning to our screens featuring 'Nidgella', and we also got a look at the final episode from the latest season of The Fear. The RTÉ 2 YouTube page recently uploaded the outtakes from Monday night's skit called ‘House Arrest’ and it’s absolutely brilliant. Two fake gardaí approach members of the public and tell them that a criminal is claiming to be their son and the gardaí then ask the homeowners to mind their ‘son’ until better accommodation is found.
