The sequel to the hugely successful 2011 hit, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, will hit Irish cinemas next month, but until then we’ve got a look at the final trailer from the movie…
Directed by Matt Reeves of Cloverfield fame, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes sees the beloved ape from the first film, Caesar, returning as the leader of a growing band of genetically evolved apes.
The apes in question are trying to stave off the threat of humans who survived the outbreak of a devastating virus and who blame the apes for unleashing it in the first place.
Staring Gary Oldman, Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke and Keri Russell, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is certainly shaping up to be this summer’s must see movie.
