The first thing we think of when the subject of ballet comes up is Natalie Portman’s brilliant performance in Black Swan but outside that we don’t really know too much about the discipline. However, a spotlight has been shone on the performance dance as Under Armour‘s latest poster girl is American ballerina Misty Copeland.
Copeland’s story is like a movie script as she fought her way up from pretty humble beginnings to become only the second black soloist in the history of the American Ballet Theatre at the age of 24.
She 31 now and regarded as one of the best in the world and this muscle bulging TV ad shows the shape that people at the top of the ballet game need to be in, it’s really spectacular stuff…
