WATCH: Invincible looks like The Boys meets Rick & Morty

If you're in the mood for some adult animated superhero comedy action, then we've got just the thing for you.

Two of the biggest TV hits of the last few years have been superhero comedy-drama The Boys and adult-aimed animation Rick & Morty. And when we first watched the brand new trailer for Invincible, it definitely feels like a bit of a mixture of those two shows.

Based on the hit comic book series by Robert Kirkman (the creator of The Walking Dead), Invincible tells the story of 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), a teenager just just like every other guy his age... except that his father just happens to be the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems...

The incredibly stacked voice cast also includes Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), Seth Rogen (This is the End), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Walton Goggins (Justified), Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), and Mahershala Ali (Moonlight).

The first three hour-long episodes will premiere Friday, 26 March on Prime Video, with new episodes available each week following until Friday, 30 April.
