Keep an eye out.

In a turn of events we weren’t expecting, Roy Keane has made a cameo appearance in the new season of The Young Offenders.

Yes, that’s correct; two of Cork’s most famous exports have collaborated to give you something to sink your teeth into.

But you will have to wait a few weeks before you see him hit our screens, as he won’t appear until episode four of the new series.

In the show, where he can be seen wearing a Cork City scarf around his neck, ex-Ireland and Man United skipper Roy Keane attempts to order a “fish supper” from the gang.

The exchange goes a little like…

Keane: “If you’re not going anywhere, any chance of a fish supper?”

Jock, Conor, Mairead: “Fuck off!”

While the Christmas special held us over, it’s been 18 months since Conor (Alex Murphy), Jock (Chris Walley), Linda (Demi Isaac Oviawe), and Siobhan (Jennifer Barry) managed to escape the bus that was hijacked by everyone’s favourite bully, Billy Murphy (Shane Casey).

We can’t wait to get stuck into the latest season.

Season 2 of the Young Offenders became available on the BBC on 3 November. The new episodes are also going to be shown on RTÉ from Monday, 11 November.
