Will this be her year?
On Monday, Saoirse Ronan picked up her fourth Oscar nomination for her role as Jo in Greta Gerwig's adaptation of Little Women.
Ronan, who is just 25, has never won either a Best Actress or Best Supporting Actress award at the ceremony, and this year she's up against the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Renée Zellweger, Charlize Theron and Cynthia Erivo.
Whether she finally cracks it remains to be seen, but right now we're all delighted for her: and nobody more so than her mammy Monica (or her dog Fran).
A video of the pair reacting to the announcement in real-time was sent into the Ray D'Arcy Show at RTÉ, and the delight is clear see on both of their faces. More so Monica's, but we're pretty sure Fran understands as well.
You can watch the moment they find out below, it'll certainly brighten your day.
Massive congratulations to #SaoirseRonan on her fourth #OscarNoms
