2020 was, to put it mildly, an eventful year, but no one will ever forget the day that the trailer for Wild Mountain Thyme was released, because all of Twitter decided to combine their powers of comedy and jaw-dropping disbelief.
The romantic-comedy starring Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan, Christoper Walken, and Jon Hamm had everyone simultaneously scratching their heads and splitting their sides, thanks to those BIG SWINGS at the accents, and some kind of temporal issue that had the movie set in both the modern day and the 1950s.
We had some notes on the trailer when it was launched and even a themed QUIZ which you can play here! But we also know that because of the pandemic, we'd no real initial idea when the movie might be getting an Irish release.
It's cinematic release came and went, but if you did happen to miss out on it, the good news (we think!?) is that Wild Mountain Thyme has JUST been added to Prime Video.
It's also available to rent on other PVOD platforms, including Sky Store, Apple TV, Google Play, Rakuten TV and many more, but if you're an Amazon Prime Video subscriber, then you already know EXACTLY what you'll be treating yourself to this weekend.
And if you'd like to reacquaint yourself with the trailer, you can check it out below and make sure you check out our full review of the movie right here.

We’d recommend this stand-alone sequel to both fans of the franchise and newcomers. Our TV movie pick for tonight (Wednesday, 1 April) is Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin, the very underrated, stand-alone sequel in the hit horror-thriller franchise. This spooky seventh entry in the found-footage series centres around Margot (rising star Emily Bader, People We […]
