We all like a really stupid-looking blockbuster, don’t we?
Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw is one such shining example, and looked nailed-on to be the most ludicrous major movie of 2019.
Step forward Will Smith, Ang Lee and Gemini Man.
Plot’s it all about?
An over-the-hill hitman faces off against a seemingly unstoppable threat that can somehow telegraph his every move.
How can this unknown-for-about-30-seconds-of-the-trailer force be so all-knowing?
Because it’s a clone. Duh.
So yeah, this thing looks bonkers.
Ang Lee is behind the camera, David Benioff (Game of Thrones) and Billy Ray (Overlord) are on script duties, and Will Smith is trying to be an action movie hero again.
