18 new films you need to see in the cinema this April

Anyone up for the cinema?

April is here and, although the days are getting longer, they're not getting much warmer. You could stick on an extra couple of jumpers to keep warm or, like us, you could head to the cinema (where they've got lovely central heating) to check out some of the great new films that are released this month. Release date: April 1 Plot: The true story of British ski jumper Eddie Edwards, who charmed the world at the Winter Olympics in 1988. You know the one; that guy with the funny glasses. Go see it because: It's a feelgood story of an underdog who wouldn't give up AND it stars friend of JOE, Taron Egerton. Release date: April 1 Plot: A woman becomes very close with a homeless young man she meets at a swimming pool, while contending with her violent ex-husband and a dangerous gang that threatens their blossoming relationship. The Man Who Knew Infinity

Release date: April 8 Plot: A poor boy who grew up in India gets accepted to Cambridge University during World War I and pioneers new practices in mathematical theories, but not without facing backlash along the way.
