Reports have emerged that actress Angela Lansbury is in talks to join the cast of Game of Thrones for the show's seventh season.
You've probably heard that name before, even if you're not entirely sure who it is. Lansbury is best known for her portrayal of Jessica Fletcher, the wily crime-solving protagonist of Murder, She Wrote.
The Daily Express has reported that Lansbury, who is now 90, is in talks to join the popular HBO fantasy series for the upcoming season. It's not known what kind of role Lansbury would take on, but it's possible that she would just appear in one episode as Ian McShane did in Season 6.
This news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that legendary English actor Jim Broadbent would be joining the cast, also in an unspecified role.
Season 7 is set to be the penultimate season of the show, and looks to be several episodes shorter than the previous six - coming in at just seven episodes. It has also been hinted at that Season 8 will be just as short - as the show hurtles towards what is sure to be a fiery and bloody denouement.
