The High School Musical actor has been transformed into a violent serial killer for his new role.
Now a new creepy image from the set of Extremely Evil, Shockingly Wicked And Vile sees him staring down his ex-wife Carole Ann, played by Kaya Scodelario.
It’s fair to say that this up-coming Ted Bundy movie has been weirding people out, despite the fact there’s a month until it’s released in cinemas.
The notorious killer was known for his charming looks, which he exploited to win over his victims and it’s jarring to see the former child actor taking up the role.

But now he has given us a look at his female co-star, who will play Bundy’s ex-wife Carole Ann.

John Malkovich also stars in the film, playing the role of Judge Edward Cowart, who oversaw Bundy’s televised trial and sentenced him to death in 1979.
Unfortunately, there is no official release date for the film. It’s meant to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May but it’s not clear when filming will be wrapped.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Efron said: “Ted Bundy is going to be a challenge. I think it’s going to be different and it’s going to be fun. I’m super stoked.”
