Russell Crowe had a very awkward interview with a journalist in Dublin at the premiere of his new film, Noah, on Saturday. On Twitter today, it went up a notch.
On Saturday at the Savoy cinema in Dublin, Russell Crowe was promoting his new movie, Noah and was asked by a journalist about rugby.
The female journalist asked Russell if he’d bring over his rugby team to play Ireland in a match. He told her that his team was a rugby league team, different to rugby union. Again, she pressed him for an answer about bringing his team for a test match against Ireland.
He responded rather witheringly and she hit back claiming that he should know that Ireland is not part of the UK. Today, Russell got wind of a conversation the journalist had been having with a colleague on Twitter and, well, he didn’t hold back…
@niamhie11 @eoinmurphy22 fearless journo my ass. You’re just a plonker who didn’t get the answer you’d predetermined & you got shirty.fail
