Pieta House

Great song for a great cause.

It’s World Suicide Prevention Day on Monday and to highlight the important work that Pieta House do to prevent suicide and self harm, over 120 people came together at Dublin’s Heuston station for a cracking singalong.

The theme of this year’s campaign is “Working together to prevent suicide” and under the stewardship of Music Director Andrius Kozlovskis, a plethora of choirs, groups and singers came together to sing the Pink Floyd classic, Wish You Were Here.

In terms of those involved, a massive round of applause goes to; Athlone Choral Society, OCC Choir, Le Cheile Singers, Westmeath County Council Choir, St. Brigids Community Choir, Alkermes Allegro, Navan Male Voice Choir and the HSE Tullamore Staff Choir.

Take a look as all of these groups combine to perform one of the most iconic songs of all time.

As for the talented guitarists that were filmed by the videographer Eric Brennan, you’re looking at Dermot Hehir and Martin O’Hara.

All together now, “So, so you think you can tell…”

Great scenes.
