Ray D’Arcy spoke to Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch on RTÉ Radio 1 about his daughter’s legacy.
Mitch discusses his misgivings about the new documentary ‘Amy,’ directed by Asif Kapadia, and reveals how the whole thing came about after he saw an Other Voices special on his daughter that had been shot down in Dingle.
“We saw Other Voices, which was wonderful, and Universal told us they wanted to do something along those lines. They sat with us and told us it was going to be all about Amy and her music, and we signed off on it.
“The first 45 minutes are wonderful, then it goes a bit… wonky.”
