Avenged Sevenfold’s latest album ‘Hail To The King’ has finally hit music stores and the band will be looking to claim the top spot in the Irish album charts this coming Friday.

Their last album ‘Nightmare’ went to No.1 in the U.S. and Top 10 in Ireland after just 4 days sales, so the band be looking to mirror that success with this latest album called ‘Hail To The King’.

The band has had Diamond, Platinum and Gold awards for album sales in nearly a dozen countries and they have sold over 5.2 million albums worldwide and 7 million tracks.

Recently, Avenged Sevenfold made an unprecedented appearance as characters in the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 video game that was released back in November 2012.

The game was the biggest-selling video game of all time and featured the band’s performance of a song written for the game, ‘Carry On,’ which then went on to Top the Billboard Monitor chart in January this year.

The opening song ‘Shepherd of Fire’ from the new album, ‘Hail To The King’, acts as the soundtrack to the new Black Ops 2 Apocalypse Origins DLC for Xbox that went live this week.

The band will play The O2 Dublin on December 3 and you can find more info about tickets over here.

Hail To The King’ (Deluxe Edition) is currently available over on iTunes for just €11.99.
