Bruce Springsteen tour

There’s also some new music coming from The Boss soon.

Music legend Bruce Springsteen has has revealed that he is working on a new solo album and is planning to tour this part of the world with his E Street Band.

Hinting about future plans in an insightful interview with The Times, he went on to say that he will be getting “back to my job”, and heading to the UK in 2019.

And if that isn’t evidence that he will be performing in Ireland soon, Steven Van Zandt, guitarist with the E Street Band told JOE that they would be returning to Ireland “no later than 2019”.

It’s time to start getting excited.

The Boss is currently performing his sell-out one-man show ‘Springsteen on Broadway’ that has been filmed for a Netflix special, that will be released on 16 December.

If the probable setlist for this special is anything to go by, it looks like it’s going to be a cracker.

Springsteen has been in the news lately for political reasons too.

In a recent interview with interview with Esquire, he described President Donald Trump as “deeply damaged at his core” and “dangerous.”

If he’s getting sick of life in America, we’ll always welcome him in Ireland…
