You can now buy a small piece of Eminem’s childhood home

JOE

Fr. Jack would have liked this one.

Eminem’s record breaking Marshall Mathers LP turned 16 this week and the rapper has decided to celebrate this milestone by selling the bricks from his actual childhood home, which was featured on the cover of the Grammy Award winning album.

The house was destroyed in 2013 due to structural safety issues but you can now own one of the 700 bricks that are for sale on his website.

Each brick comes with a Certificate of Authenticity featuring Em’s handwritten signature, a glass enclosure with a commemorative plaque and a cassette version of the album.

BRICK

Before you get too excited, super-fans like Stan should take note that owning one of Eminem’s bricks will set you back €280, but it’s for a good cause. Some of the proceeds are going to the Marshall Mathers Foundation which works to rebuild the city of Detroit.

For those of you who can’t quite afford a brick, you can also buy dog tags made out of wood from his home, which cost €25.
