Foo Fighters Dublin Belfast 2019

Rock on.

Dave Grohl and his merry band of Foo Fighters are Ireland-bound.

The enduring rock band will play two shows over here next summer, marking their first Irish shows in four years.

The Foos will headline Vital Festival at Boucher Road in Belfast on Monday 19 August and Dublin’s RDS Arena two days later on Wednesday 21 August.

Tickets – Dublin priced from €79.50 – go on sale via Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide this Friday 23 November.

Slane in 2015 saw the last time Grohl’s outfit were in town, and they’ve been typically busy ever since.

Last year saw the release of the band’s ninth studio album Concrete and Gold, while Grohl recently unveiled a 23-minute instrumental in which he played all the parts.

The current Foo Fighters live experience is described as “explosive and euphoric”, something the likes of recent encounters with 10-year-olds nailing ‘Enter Sandman’ and this dude stealing the show with his take on ‘Monkey Wrench’ can attest to.
