We all have our own favourite tunes and it’s unlikely that any magazine is going to convince JOE that Johnny Logan – Hold Me Now isn’t the greatest song of all-time.

Rolling Stone may not have included the Eurovision winning entry on their list of the ‘500 Greatest Songs of All-Time’ but we will defend it to the hilt.

Spotify Insights is a wonderful little gizmo that allows the streaming service to tally up all the play counts for every track on their service and they’ve managed to see what song from Rolling Stone’s list of 500 tunes is the most popular with audiences today.

While countkess journalists, producers and artists would argue that ‘Like A Rolling Stone’ by Bob Dylan is the best tune ever recorded it seems that listeners are more interested in dancing to Beyonce and Jay Z’s ‘Crazy in Love’.

Here’s the eight most popular tracks and there’s good news for fans of Van the Man.
