The best of the live music gigs around the country.

Who: Crosby, Stills and Nash
Date: Wednesday, September 16th
Where: Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Dublin

Folk-rock supergroup, Crosby, Stills & Nash roll into town for a performance at the wonderful Bord Gais Energy Theatre. No Neil Young with them this time, but this will not diminish their powers in any way.

Over 40 years together and still wowing crowds the world over, this is a gig for the purists, the veterans if you will.

Who: Sam Amidon
Date: Thursday, September 17th
Where: Roisin Dubh, Galway

American independent folk artist Sam Amidon is on a bit of a mini Irish tour and you can catch him out west in the Roisin Dubh, Galway this Thursday evening.

Who: Danko Jones
Date: Friday, September 18th
Where: Whelan’s, Dublin

Canadian rockers Danko Jones will be bringing their famed loud live show to the iconic Dublin venue this Friday evening. Go along and rock yourself silly.

Support on the night comes from The Amorettes.

Who: The Vincent(s)
Date: Saturday, September 19th
Where: Cyprus Avenue, Cork

The Cork lads have some high profile fans. The Dandy Warhols’ Courtney Taylor-Taylor is a massive fan having discovered them at last year’s Sea Sessions.

Taylor-Taylor went on to remix a song for them, ‘Song For The Sea’ and is being lined up to produce the band’s next two singles. Catch them now before they are selling out venues quicker than you can get verified by Visa.

Who: The Vaccines
Date: Tuesday, December 8th
Where: Olympia Theatre, Dublin

What? December? Yes, December, but the tickets for this gig go on sale this Friday morning and by the time December comes around, this gig will be long sold-out.

The multi-award winning band are coming to Dublin for this hotly anticipated gig and will be looking to absolutely tear up the famous old venue on December 8th.
