JOE’s Song Of The Day #890 – Lemonade Shoelace ‘Autopilot Paradise’

Eric Lalor

A debut single full of summer vibes.

Lemonade Shoelace is the brainchild of 23-year-old Ruairí Richman, a graduate of the BIMM institute in Dublin and a native of Newcastle, County Down.

Written, recorded, and produced entirely by himself in his own little home studio, ‘Autopilot Paradise’ is the first single to come from a man who looks like a very promising talent.

A debut song laced with summer vibes and echoes of Tale Impala, it’s not a bad way to start your musical odyssey.

Lemonade Shoelace aims to load up the senses with colour, rich melodies and textures of sound that embrace the last 50 years of popular music.

“I knew I wanted to get something bold and colourful,” Ruairí tells JOE.

“Not just visuals but music you have to listen twice to. I love music where every time you listen to it, you hear something else in the song. Interesting music.”

Interesting for sure, now pass me a cocktail and some sunscreen.
