A lot of disappointed fans missed out on tickets for Kendrick Lamar’s Dublin gig this morning

Gone in no time.

Kendrick Lamar

Damn.

When it was announced that someone as popular as Kendrick Lamar was coming to town and for one night only, demand was always likely to be high amongst his many Irish fans.

As a result, it wasn’t that much of a surprise when general sale tickets for Kendrick’s show at the 3 Arena in Dublin on February 7 next year were snapped up in no time on Ticketmaster on Friday morning.

At the time of writing, there are some official platinum, loyalty ultimate meet & greet, hot ticket gold and early entry packages available on Ticketmaster and there are already plenty of tickets available for inflated prices on Seatwave, Ticketmaster’s online ticket marketplace.

Prices for those tickets currently start at €150 so it looks like whoever was unlucky to miss out first time around is going to have to fork out if they really want to see Kendrick in the flesh in Dublin next year.

Unless there’s another date added, of course, but with the man himself already committed to five gigs in five cities in the six days following his Dublin show, it might be a tad optimistic.
