Back with a bang!

U2 have released to the world the very first single from their forthcoming new album, Songs Of Experience and it’s an absolute belter.

Currently in the middle of their legendary Joshua Tree Anniversary World Tour, fans of the band have been eager to hear ‘You’re The Best Thing About Me’ and they will not be disappointed.

Last week they gave us a teaser from the album with the song ‘Blackout’ and if these two offerings are anything to go by, Songs Of Experience should be ridiculously good.

The new single features a sleeve image by Anton Corbijn of The Edge’s daughter, Sian Evans.

“While Songs of Innocence charted the band’s earliest influences and experiences in the late 1970s and early 80s, the new album is a collection of songs in the form of intimate letters to places and people close to the singer’s heart; family, friends, fans, himself,” read a U2 press release.

Songs Of Experience is rumoured to be released in November or December of this year.
