All four dates around the country have been pulled.

A Michael Jackson tribute act, which was set to perform around Ireland in May, has been cancelled entirely.

Showtime Australia, the producers of the show, have decided to pull the act entirely from the calendar.

Michael Jackson’s HIStory is described as “the full Michael Jackson concert experience with accomplished impersonator Dantanio – electrifying in his role as Jackson – plus a live band, choreographed dancers, authentic costumes, state-of-the-art sound and theatrical lighting, vision and effects.”

All four Irish dates have been cancelled: Cork Opera House (Tues 14 May), Vicar Street Dublin (Wed 15 May), the Royal Theatre and Event Centre in Castlebar (Thurs 16 May) and Limerick’s University Concert Hall (Sat 18 May).

Ticket holders can get refunds from the authorised outlet where the tickets were purchased.

The reaction to Leaving Neverland continues to be felt, with both Ryan Tubridyand multiple radio stations around the world announcing that they would no longer be putting MJ songs on their playlists, while Spotify plays of his songs have actually increased in the week since the documentary aired.
