Showtime Australia, the producers of the show, have decided to pull the act entirely from the calendar.
Michael Jackson's HIStory is described as "the full Michael Jackson concert experience with accomplished impersonator Dantanio - electrifying in his role as Jackson - plus a live band, choreographed dancers, authentic costumes, state-of-the-art sound and theatrical lighting, vision and effects."
All four Irish dates have been cancelled: Cork Opera House (Tues 14 May), Vicar Street Dublin (Wed 15 May), the Royal Theatre and Event Centre in Castlebar (Thurs 16 May) and Limerick's University Concert Hall (Sat 18 May).
Ticket holders can get refunds from the authorised outlet where the tickets were purchased.
