Noel Gallagher replies to Liam’s recent criticism of U2 in typical Noel fashion

Paul Moore

Liam recently said he would “rather eat my own s**t” than listen to U2.

Ok, we know that Liam Gallagher absolutely loves to wind people up on Twitter, in fact, the singer has even admitted that he gets a kick out of provoking his older brother on Twitter.

See, the two driving forces behind Oasis are no different to any other set of siblings…apart from the fact that they’re currently not speaking to each other and that Noel once referred to Liam as “rude, arrogant, intimidating and lazy. He’s the angriest man you’ll ever meet. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup.”

Whatever you might think of the Gallagher brothers, they’re nothing but entertaining!

With Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds set to open for U2 at their upcoming Twickenham gigs, Liam decided to stir the pot by saying that he would “rather eat my own s**t” than listen to their “toff rock.”

If you follow Liam on Twitter then you’ll know that he’s very active, something that can’t be said about Noel because despite the fact that he has an official account, the tweets are clearly written by a PR person or studio executive.

This being said, Noel’s latest tweet definitely had his input because it included a few mischievous references to Liam’s previous insult.

You don’t have to be an expert to read between the lines on statements like “The u2 Catering Experience” and the paraphrasing of Liam’s signature sign-off “as you weren’t.”

We eagerly await Liam’s reply.
