Noel Gallagher is teaming up with an Irish superstar for this charity single

Great songwriters contributing to a great cause

What a pair.

This is what you call a musical dream team as two of the world’s greatest singer/songwriters have come together in the name of charity.

Hozier and Noel Gallagher have both contributed to the single ‘Boob Spelt Backwards Is Boob’ (we’re all about that title, by the way) in aid of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The American-based Irish DJ Greg McQuaid is the man behind the single, which is set to be released this coming Thursday (October 1).

Speaking to Herald.ie, McQuaid couldn’t hide his delight at getting the Take Me To Church star involved:

“Getting Hozier was really huge. When you have one of the biggest artists on the planet involved, convincing others to contribute becomes a lot easier”.

Meanwhile, Oasis legend Gallagher has already contributed his part to the song, which also includes pop royals Spandau Ballet.

We can’t wait to hear what the lads come up with here.
