This won't go down well in Wicklow.

While Hozier didn't come away with a Grammy last night for his all-conquering single 'Take Me To Church', the Wicklow singer's performance with former Eurythmics singer, Annie Lennox, was one of the ceremony's highlights. Hozier probably doesn't need an award to remind him of what an incredible year 2014 has been, but it seems that the people who run the BBC Newsbeat Twitter account might need a quick history lesson or a map. This facet of the Beeb's online presence took to the Twitterverse last night to diligently remind their followers of all the British artists who were nominated for Grammys ahead of the ceremony, only to make this geographical gaffe. Any online publication is bound to make mistakes but this one is pretty glaring. FYI Newsbeat, he's not from Britain or from Eden. He's from Wicklow but some of the replies are pretty incensed. https://twitter.com/BBCNewsbeat/status/564525274851991553
