The Blizzards add second Dublin gig due to demand

The Blizzards Whelans Dublin

Niall Breslin’s rock and roll show rides again.

Currently enjoying something of a career renaissance, The Blizzards will close out 2018 in style.

It’s been a decent year for the revived Mullingar pop-rock outfit, having pulled a large and raucous crowd at the Salty Dog Stage at this summer’s Electric Picnic festival.

Along the way they’ve ‘done an Aerosmith and Run DMC’ and teamed up with the likes of Paul Alwright and Tebi Rex as they attempt to move their sound into a new direction.

Still, it always comes back to the live experience for a band like The Blizzards and so the news that they’ve added a second Dublin date close to Christmas will be very welcome indeed for fans.

After selling out Whelan’s on Thursday 6 December, the boys will now play again on the following night, Friday 7 December.

Tickets priced €22.90 including booking fee are on sale now via Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.
