The first acts for Indiependence 2017 have been announced
A good start...
The first acts for next year's Indiependence music festival (August 4-6) in Mitchelstown, Cork have been announced with Welsh band Manic Street Preachers set to make the trip to the south of Ireland.

They will be joined at the festival by well-known Irish band The Coronas, who've performed to a rapturous reception at the event a number of times previously.

Rounding out the announcement today was the news that Sigma DJ will also be taking to the stage in August next year.
