The new Waterford festival is coming back with a bang.

All Together Now was one of the highlights of this year’s festival calendar, having hit the ground running superbly in its debut outing.

The brand new Waterford bash saw the likes of Underworld, Róisín Murphy, Fleet Foxes, Villagers, Mura Masa and Mogwai light up the Curraghmore Castle Estate in August.

By all accounts, it was a roaring success and comparable to the early days of Electric Picnic.

Indeed, All Together Now represented another feather in the cap of promoter John Reynolds, who sadly suddenly passed away in October.

His legacy lives on, however, and the ATN team will honour his spirit and vision as the festival gets set to return for 2019.

They’re off to a flyer, too, with the news that The National take the honours of being named as the first headliner.

The National are, of course, no strangers to Ireland, having regularly charmed audiences here over the past decade and more.

It’s a strong first offering for the festival which officially returns to Waterford from 2 – 4 August 2019, promising 16 stages boasting music, spoken word, comedy, theatre, debate, art, workshops and feasts of food and drink.

General & Family tickets for the festival are on sale now priced at €199.50 available until 31 December.
