LISTEN: Versatile’s new song is different to anything they’ve done before, but it’s still brilliant

Rudi Kinsella

So damn smooth.

We are very open about our love of Versatile at JOE.

We were there this summer when they stole the show at Longitude, and we were in Stradbally when they did the exact same at Electric Picnic.

And we are confident in saying that as big as they are now, they are going to keep getting bigger and bigger.

This is largely due to their ability to effortlessly switch their style up, proven by their brand new song ‘Don’t Change (Tu Mente)’.

The song shows the lads having a summer romance with a Spanish “Mamacita”, as they say.

The sound is completely different to any of their other songs, but the lyrics are still as hilarious and vulgar as ever.

As much as we love it, we probably wouldn’t be playing it out loud in the office just yet.

Have a listen here:

What do you think? We reckon the slowed-down style suits them down to the ground.

Here’s hoping we get to hear more of it soon.

The pair will be performing in the Olympia Theatre on 28 October, in what might be their biggest headline gig to date, but tickets sold out in a matter of seconds.
